In case you hadn't noticed, there is this thing going around the internet called "spam," and I really got sick and tired of it as has 99% of the rest of the internet. Filter that into your Beautiful Mind equation and you may come closer to the answer on just why I am using an email address called "newsbot". It's a throw away account that gets cleaned out every night of all the spam it's likely receiving which I never see. (Now if only spammers would GET A CLUE that that's precisely what most "old hands" on Usenet are doing...)

And now, back to the original question, which if I can get that gigantic intellect of yours to focus upon, I would have already had you index the answer for me instead of needlessly and uselessly investigating my Usenet history, Nash. If you are really interested in adding me to the gigantic usage histogram you must be building, head on over to comp.lang.perl.misc and you'll get a spike.
