My school accepts Linux but:: 4602
My school accepts Linux but:: 4605 That's funny.... At my school, a business school catering in MBA's, we call the Linux people DORKS. Last year they had what they called "Linux Day...
rapskat Anti Linux? No, sorry it's the truth and you can verify it right here. Anonymous proxy yes. Fake email no (why don't you try it before you spread FUD) Posting through Google? Sure, why not. Most of comp.os.linux.advocacy does this. Anonymous proxy? Sure. And for a damm good reason. See I made the mistake, once, of posting through my .edu address and I will never do it again because several totally obsessed, psycho Linux priests actually tried to track me down through the school and I got myself in a lot of trouble fending them off. Never again. Oh, BTW I'm sure rapskat is your real name as well. No posting history? appeared out of nowhere yet nobody said a word. Why? Because it's pro linux. How about bloodmoney? Another one out of the blue.. How about the various pro-linux people that are posting under multiple names? I don't see anything said about that either. I could continue, but I've made my point. My school accepts Linux but:: 4603 On Sat, 27 Aug 2005 16:32:40 -0700, Ellen Chaimowitz Correct, the account was created 27th August 2005. Posting through Yes, people have already mentioned VMWare. What an odd question to ask when you...
I've only been reading comp.os.linux.advocacy for about a month now and already I can see a pattern developing. Never debate or disprove an anti linux post. Instead start a smear campaign against the poster. Don't worry, the Linux community will back you up. How do I reach this conclusion? Simple... Just look at my post. Has anyone offered another opinion as to how to get MapInfo PDMWorks and SolidWorks to run under Linux? Has anyone offered a reason why dual booting-mainataining TWO operating systems is a good thing? In another post, a person mentioned some music program that was required for the course and it didn't run under wine. That part was ignored. How about the obvious sidestepping the Linux people engage in when a person talks about using a laptop-computer for college and that Windows is required. What does the Linux community answer? Well your college website runs with Linux, as if that has any bearing on what the student body needs to use on their personal computers. Sorry, but I see comp.os.linux.advocacy as a complete disaster, a mess, a joke and a detriment to Linux. You can all go and yell Flatfish all you like, but the smart readers are reading the message instead of reading your attacks and obvious attempts at sending up a smokescreen. I'm not Flatfish BTW Ellen Chaimowitz
