NFS mount issueHere is my situation Server1 has a mountdbshared to Server2 AND Server1 has a device mountdb-aiServer1 has a device mountdb-biServer1 has a device mountdb-db On Server2, if you go tomnt-server1db-ai you see the files and subdirectories that you would see if if Server1 haddb-ai unmounted. i.e.: On Server1 --------------- # cd # service nfs stop # umountdb-ai # touchdb-ai-aifile # ls -ladb-ai total 16 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Jun 23 15:14 . drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 Jun 23 14:14 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 23 15:14 aifile # mountdb-ai # ls -ladb-ai total 28 drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jun 23 15:17 . drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 Jun 23 14:14 .. # service nfs start Then on Server2 --------------- # mount Server1:-dbmnt-server1db# ls -lamnt-server1db-aitotal 16 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Jun 23 15:16 . drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 Jun 23 14:14 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 23 15:16 aifile ============================ I was expecting to find the lost+found dir instead of the aifile Mbutt renaming of files On 2006-06-24, Handover Phist $ A=1; for i in *.jpg; do echo mv $i file$A; A=$A+1; done mv 20050606-010054.jpg file1 mv 20050606-010107.jpg file1+1 mv...
