Not strictly true. I have none of those things but watch DVDs, listen to music and watch TV and all on my PC. The only 'extra' bit of kit I have is a Technics stereo amp and a pair of bookshelf speakers. I will eventually break down and get a cheap VCR to watch-rip the few videos I do have or just borrow one for the task. As for going to the cinema, a concert or the theatre here, forget it, they are too crowded and far too expensive. I'm patient enought to wait for the DVD of any interesting film that may come out, not that there are many these days

Never heard of the distro though, I *may* take a peek at it but I'm debating switching from Mandriva to Ubuntu depending on what Mandriva do in their next release :-)
