Need help installing overexisting linux setupI have an old P-100 system that has no cd drive that I want to install the 2x.com thin client on it. This system has 2 hard drives hda1 and hdb1 the current distro on it is ClarkConnect which is on hdb1. The system boots GRUB on HDA1 and it loads a kernel off HDA1 and then switches to HDB1. the 2x.com client can be installed off a bootable cd or over an etherboot neither is a solution for me. The cd drive that was part of the pc had died and I've tried 4 different cd drives and while the pc sees the drive it will not boot from them. I am unable to do an etherboot because there is no boot rom on the network card. Besides being an ISO the client software is distrubited as an RPM. I know there must be a way to extract the files from the ISO onto hdb which has plenty of free space then launch the install from GRUB but I can't figure out how to do it. On the CD is a ISOLINUX.CFG file that has a few options. The option to install the software is Anyone upgrade debian sarge from 2.4 to 2.6 Dances With Crows Yup, except the default kernel shipped with debian Sarge only recognizes 1 gb and I have 2.5 GB...
