OT: Most clueless ISP award 7469

Michael Heiming I just sent them e-mail about this, and a bot sent a non-responsive reply. I replied to that (as the bot suggested) and got a different non-responsive reply. I replied to that and got a message to telephone them, which I did.

That got me to an IVR system that asked me to describe the problem. The IVR system could not understand me, so I gave it a simpler description and it did not understand me, so I gave it an even simpler description and got a human bean. He had me walk through their site to where e-mail configuration was done, but there were no options for white listing, only the simplest of mail filtering.

I pointed out that European e-mail never got to the mail filtering stage because the mail server was blocking it. He did not know what to do about that, so will forward the problem to another department that is on holiday today and does not work weekends.

Hire the handicapped: they are fun to watch.
