It's really about time that Linux had some way to do DRM. That said, Open Source DRM is preferred.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of RIAA and MPAA, some real people are out there writing books, songs & whatever to pay for their housing & food. Until they individually have some way to market their own works, they'll be stuck selling to "the big guys" who take a HUGE percentage of the money. I think Open Source DRM would help the people who actually create the content.

I'd really like to see a Linux & Open Source desktop become a huge player in homes, schools and at work. To be viable at home it's got to have a DRM capability just because so many people expect to access content. If that's easier with Linux, so much the better.

DRM will happen. I want an Open Source alternative. Better yet, I want an Open Source leader.

There you have it, my opinion and worth every bit that you paid for it. ;-)
