I have tried 'dmesg' now. To prepare the media for prompt change I first created a backup with Partimage reducing the size of the image file to 4000 MiB (see filler.000). Then I stopped the backup. This leaves a little space on the DVD-RAM to rapidly reach the point of media change with the test backup.

I prepared before starting the next backup with 'dmesg -c'. The I have started the backup and reached the point where Partimage says:

"Disk full! Can't write next volume file (FileName) tomnt-dvd Please, enter another directory path (without filename)."

I switched with Alt+F2 to the next console prompt and entered 'dmesg' which delivered no information at that point.

Then I entered 'umount -lmnt-dvd' and 'dmesg' again. No message from 'dmesg'.

Then I entered 'eject' and 'dmesg'. No message from 'dmesg'.

After changing the media I entered 'mount -t ext2dev-sr0mnt-dvd' and 'dmesg' replied:

"VFS: busy inodes on changed media."

Then I tried 'ls -lmnt-dvd' and got following information:

The problem occurs after the re-mount of the changed media.

Any idea?
