Well -- I've installed the mostobvious ones so far;

~$ sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev .. The following extra packages will be installed: libatk1.0-dev libxcursor-dev libxfixes-dev libxinerama-dev x11proto-fixes-dev x11proto-xinerama-dev Suggested packages: libgtk2.0-doc

and as "suggested" from above output - since I *like* documentation ;-)

~$ sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-common libgtk2.0-doc libgtk2.0-common is already the newest version. Suggested packages: libglib2.0-doc libatk1.0-doc The following NEW packages will be installed: libgtk2.0-doc

Obviously the "2.0-dev" pkg already previously installed the "2.0-common" pkg (ala Java JRE vs DEV), even though it's not mentioned in the output of the "2.0-dev" pkg install...

Am I trying to install a Rootkit or what ?!?!??!?
