Hm. konsole has a "root console" menu item in its default config; wonder why eterm-aterm don't? Note that whatever you do, you'll have to enter root's pbuttword. degraded raid 5 problem I have a strange problem. Learn the basics of emacs and-or vim, then pick one of those editors and learn it *well*. Then vi-compatible editor in its base install.
