The fact is, that a GUI is only necessary for very sophisticated image creation and editing. This would be a specialized use of the computer, something that only an accomplished artist could pull off.

In ANY other circumstances, the GUI is quite inferior to the CLI. Except for mindless consumer morons that want to hold a beer or diet coke or slice of pizza or tv remote control or cellphone or their privatess in one hand while they use a computer, and are too lazy to learn how to type.

It uses far more system resources, is extremely limited and difficult to re-configure, and is much slower, both physically and in terms of processing speed.

It is far more complex and thus more likely to have the sort of problems that come with increasing complexity.

Do you think that everyone has ignored the posts here that you chosen to ignore because they offer information that makes your position obviously untenable?
