Req Red Hat Linux Please TIA 1192

My Apologies Dan, I forgot the news reader doesn't append the original message to the reply. I am still learning to use the news reader but any constructive criticism is welcome. The following is probably how I should have done it.

Why bother writing in the first place? Especially if you think posting 5 CD's is nuts. People are posting 5-6 CD's for a game so why is my request nuts? I may be new to the scene but a little respect for someone trying to better their understanding would be appreciated.

30 days for red hat enterprise is not long enough to appreciate the system, Especially for a novice, an older version would be handy but obviously you don't feel helping someone educate themselves is a worthwhile objective.

Finally something I might be able to do something with.

FYI, I have fedora and burnt to CD. As yet I have not got a working install, it failed in the final setup config reboot. I.E. when setup saves the config settings and goes to reboot into the OS. I have also tried Suse 10 with the same result. I am installing on P3 450 as a trial machine to experiment before migrating fully. This equals 6-8 gigs of download so far with no satisfaction.
