Req Red Hat Linux Please TIA 1193You would want it to PREpend the original to the reply in any case; i.e., no top posting. terminalbased financial accounting software On Sun, 23 Apr 2006 22:54:12 -0700, ptrlsn Spreadsheets and dedicated programs are probably a better solution, but I use the simple method described below. This was a project I worked on before... Most newsgroups, including comp.os.linux.misc, where this was posted, do not allow posting of binary files. Since these files are on public web sites, a link to them should suffice. What's this about "Finally"? It is tricky to determine what you are talking about. I made some buttumptions that tried to explore the possibilities and be useful. When you were so unclear what you wanted, is it not a bit much that I did not guess what you wanted to know in the order you wanted it? This suggests to me that you were unable to follow the directions while installing; perhaps you did not put the boot loader in the right place. While I do not happen to like Fedora, I had no trouble installing Core 2, and (other than sound) it worked fine as a desktop OS. I would imagine that Core 5 would be even easier. If you cannot even get Fedora to install, you will never get RHEL to install. The procedures are much the same. You are just going to have to figure out why you cannot install distributions. If you cannot do Fedora or SuSE, why do you think you will have better luck with RHEL? -- .~. Jean-David Beyer Registered Linux User 85642.
