Where is my mouse Debian sarge-stable still uses XFree86. The next release, etch, will have Xorg. That doesn't... aha152x 123456 3 scsimod,sg,foobar ...lsmod LiStsMODules that are loaded. If you have an ancient AVA-1505 SCSI card, you need to have the aha152x module loaded for that card and anything attached to that card to work properly. The fact that command I posted above returned nothing shows that aha152x isn't loaded. ISA hardware was always a PITA, and a PCI SCSI card will allow you to "modprobe foobar" instead of trying to figure out which io= and irq= values you need for everything to work. This thing *may* do ISAPNP, but ISAPNP was always a bit of a Black Art. You can still get everything working properly without buying a new card, but it may take longer than you're willing to spend. Look in the Device Mangler and obtain the I-O and IRQ there. This may not help as the Device Mangler lies like a rug IME. First things first; get the ancient SCSI card up and running. I already posted the Linux command to obtain that information--it starts with "cat".
