Sword installI am trying to figure out if somehow my 64 box is not accepting installs .... Some difference between the FC6 and the FC6-64 libraries? I have two boxes set up now in my shop. An AMD64 and a Duron 750 Mhz. I've upgraded both to FC6 ... actually fresh installed on the 64 box, since I just finished building it. Sword, RealAudio Player, xine, xmms and a couple of other miscellaneous apps run fine. I use a terminal window to su and then use yum (e.g. yum install xmms). Also I have tried the yumex gui app for access to yum. Logitech keyboard and mouse combo Is anyone using a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo? It has a mouse and keyboard and... Now here is the deal, everyone of the applications mentioned above work immediately after the yum install process completes. Meaning, on the next command line in terminal I type sword, for example, and the application comes right up. On the AMD64 box, this does not work, that is to say, I will type in "real" (without quotes) which is to start the real player. Nothing happens. There is not even a log entry that I can find. Sword is the same as is xmms. Xine works, however. I am perplexed. I have faq'ed and googled .. but the only thing I can figure out is that there is some 64-bit code which is interferring with the run process. For example, I tried downloading the Sword tar and went through the entire build process (configure, make install, make configure, make clean) and it works fine on the 32bit box. Exact same instructions, typed side by side in the 64 box sitting next to the 32 box, and the install process goes through OK. But, the launch command is not recognized. I've check permissions and execute and they are ok.
