Yep. I saw the same pattern when I was shopping around for a new laptop last year and asked my friends and colleagues.

Dell fanatics attacked the IBM fanatics, and vice versa. Then Mac enthusiasts joined the melee and it was great fun. When I said that a certain machine was bad, lots of people stepped forward to tell me that it worked fine for them. When I repeated the buttertion without any solid proof, someone called me an idiot. Maybe I should have bugged them a little more and gotten a few more choice adjectives.

For a dead man, you do talk a lot.

You have to understand that M$ marketing people don't write us big checks. Maybe they are mean, or maybe some other products are cutting into their profits these days, but being poor does that to people. Being smart also does the same thing, but let us not split hairs here.

As a "sane" man, you use a lot of adjectives, don't you ?
