I've pretty much given up on USENET for discussion groups because these Linux crackpots seem to be infesting groups all over the place. They are in my playstation group claiming how Linux can be run on the Sony. They are in my ipod group claiming how the ipod is supported with Linux. They are in my Xbox group claiming how the Xbox can be turned into a cheap Linux server.

Instead I spend my time in the moderated groups where there is less chance of the wacko's posting their tripe. Of course in gearslutz.com we have our own version, Walters, and there is even a current Linux troll in the "So much gear, so little time" group, but it is mostly being ignored, thank God. Last time we had a Linux thread in here the Linux crackpots over ran the group to the point it had to be shut down for a day or two to purge all the crap from the archives. I'll give the Linux crackpots credit, they don't give up but at the same time they should listen to the mbuttes of people that could give a rats butt about Linux. We, as rats, don't give a poo about Linux.
