Good thing you went for the Linux distro that's closest to Microsoft's spirit. Bob Young once said in Montreal -- at the time 5.1 came out -- that Bill Gates was his hero. Unfortunately he couldn't write one line of code and Linux was lying there, his for the taking. That's how Linux got to the stock exchange.

So, that's what you get for staying Microsoft-minded and not choosing Debian. Good for you!

They didn't make a fool out of you. You were, are and most probably will forever be a fool.

Yeah. It seems everybody is moving to swifter standalone applications Firefox and Thunderbird.

'The Mozilla community has said for some time that the 1.7 series of the Mozilla suite would be the last stable branch, although Mozilla 1.7.x would continue to receive "sustaining maintenance, including security updates". According to postings on the newsgroup, this feature is particularly in demand by organisations with large existing Mozilla deployments. One user said he had 300 clients still using the Mozilla suite, another claimed he had 100.

Developer Gervase Markham pointed out in the newsgroup that maintaining the Mozilla Suite in addition to Firefox and Thunderbird is "a lot of work, particularly when you have to do releases from all of them near-simultaneously if there's a security issue".'

Don't worry so much about developers. Most of them, or their companies, have a need for the stuff they're working on. They'll never get as rich as Bill Gate, but they're paid, plus they just luv the feeling of being free.

The Reasons I hate M$ and Love Open Source Software
Those who rely on M$ software always seem to get burned. When I was a M$ customer, they burned me by discontinuing to provide useful functionality which I paid money for...

Hey, no reference? Here it is:

Torvalds was given a bi-processor G5 and decided it would be a nice idea to check *Linux* on it. Who wouldn't? I certainly would even give my powerful Celeron 850 in exchange! But Torvalds has all the fun, he's everybody's darling... and Linux maintains eleven platforms. I'm sure companies are so glad to send in a computer once in a while.

As for you, I suggest you stay with Windows. There's no doubt about it, Bill Gates luvs you!
