There's no reference to USB in the man page for xorg.conf, and USB mice have never required anything special for their Driver lines. Checkvar-log-Xorg.0.log , you may find errors relating to this line there. Interesting. I've always put the CorePointer-AlwaysCore lines in the ServerLayout section. What's that section of your xorg.conf look like? input4? Are you sure this thing is showing up as mouse2? With udev, mice can get buttigned to devices in funny orders. And having multiple mice means device file naming gets funny, especially if one mouse isn't plugged in. Aye, since there's no such thing as "usbmouse" anywhere outside the kernel's "boot protocol" modules for USB devices. Check the man page for xorg.conf before doing anything to it next time. For the current situation, see above. For the long term, play around with your system more than you do now. Take notes on things. Do things you wouldn't normally do. You've been asking a lot of questions recently that you could've figured out under your own power. Make an attempt to figure those things out.
