Vim on really old Laptop Slackware 2590Unfortunately much of this is babbling-- ie many words with very little data. What does your laptop have on it? Does it have a network card? Does it have a modem? I would certainly not advise you to use Slack 3.3 It is too old.
Vim on really old Laptop Slackware 2591 As you have discovered, using floppies and installing an extremely old version of Slackware is not going...
what are "a and ap"? ispell is also gone. The current spell checker is aspell ( aspell -c acts like ispell)
The error message when you do what?
To get what? YOu found what on the main-PC?
You have descended into incomprehensibility here. Your referents have all been lost Where to put it-- the closest referent is "main-PC" Why would you hold your main pc over your laptop? To drop it onto the laptop and put yourself and your laptop out of its misery? I tried it-- the closest referent is Laptop. How did you try your laptop? in the same -- same as what? Your laptop? as the one here-- where is here? What is "one". Slak came with vi installed, and if you properly installed Slack you also installed all of the libraries it needs. Or did you get your version of vi from somewhere else?
Please tell us more clearly what the problem is.
