My second machine (still in use) is from 1990, and it took some looking around to figure how to make it work as you want. It turns out that that MB calls the option "Power Interruption" and has choice of Enabled and Disabled. No explanation at all. It turns out Enabled is what is wanted, but Disabled is default. This current machine I built in March 2004, and it has that mode as one of its options. At least I could tell what option I wanted, but it took a few tries to make it do what is needed. It is called "Power Loss Control" and has StayOff, PowerOn, and LastState as options. I tried LastState first, but that did not work too well, so I now have it as PowerOn. -- .~.
