Not really sure. Based on the number of posts, this trolling completely dominates flatfish's life. I guess it's not so much a "sport" as a lifestyle.
Yes, but most of those trolls stick to the advocacy newsgroups. Flatfish is the only one crossposting to comp.os.linux.misc (among other newsgroups).
That's right, all these troll posts are coming from just one guy. Note how they all have the same tone, all come from the same place, and all have the same so-called sob story. Not one of them is true, of course.
I really don't care whatever goes on on comp.os.linux.advocacy. Getting all that advocacy crud out of the useful newsgroups is the whole point behind them. It only becomes a problem when flatfish crossposts threads with COLA.
It doesn't "dribble over" from COLA, it's crossposted from the start by flatfish.

The real answer is for someone to find flatfish and give him a life. If that guy had ANYTHING else to fulfill himself with, then he wouldn't be wasting away his life with these incessant crosspost trolls. I dunno, maybe World of Warcraft, or something. ANYTHING.
