Yes. It is you that tells the system what and where to mount parbreastions. So, you can stick the two drives in (say they are hdb and hdc) and put a lines likedev-hdb1old-disk1-root ext2 defaults 0 2dev-hdb2old-disk1-boot ext2 defaults 0 2dev-hdb5old-disk1-usr ext2 defaults 0 2dev-hdb7old-disk1-home ext2 defaults 0 2dev-hdc1old-disk2-local ext2 defaults 0 2dev-hdc5old-disk2-loveo ext2 defaults 0 2 (buttuming they have the ext2 filesystems. If they have ext3 or reiserfs use those instead) Ie, adapt these lines to your situation. intoetc-fstab, make sure that the subdirectoriesold-disk1-{root,usr,home} andold-disk2-{local,loveo} exist and are rx for everyone, and mount them. YOu can now access all of the stuff on all of those parbreastions.
No, when you installed FC3 on the new drive you put the parbreastion on that disk. You no longer need the stuff in that old drive. You can save it and read it as above, erase it, whatever you want. It is you that tells the system (in lilo) what to use parbreastions have no names. It is only the mount command as in fstab that gives names to parbreastions. Your first drive does not had a or aboot parbreastion. It only has parbreastions with certain content which you now tell the system to mount onto orboot. recording Hello, a few weeks ago I've configured my soundcard (Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233-A-8235-8237 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 60)). Playback works fine but... No. THey are just parbreastion. You tell the system what to do with those parbreastions.
