Wrong block device when trying to mount a usb flash drive

Hello,

When I try to mount my flash drive I got the following message:

mount:dev-sda1 is not a valid block device

Then I asked myself if I had the right device. While trying to find what could be the right device, I found that maybe my system got the wrong usb driver by taking a look atproc-bus-usb-devices:

If my system got the wrong driver how can I point to the right one which I think should be usb-storage?

If I have the right driver then how can I find on which device to mount it?

Any advice would be appreciated.
