linux serial port help
Try this code instead to see if it makes any difference. Incidentally, compile this with a command that has at least these options: gcc -O2 -Wall -W foo.c You...

Seems you just need (to enable or setup) one of the above mentioned repositories (freshrpms or-and dries).

I have freshrpms "installed-enabled"

rpm -Uvh freshrpms-release-1.1-1.fc.noarch.rpm Preparing... ########################################### 100% package freshrpms-release-1.1-1.fc is already installed

root can't change permissions, owner 2201
comp.os.linux.misc: Please do not multipost your problems In that case whoever wtrote the wikipedia article was talking out of the wrong orifice. In that case...

lsetc-yum.repos.dfedora-core.repo fedora-updates.repo livna.repo fedora-development.repo fedora-updates-testing.repo livna.repo.rpmsave fedora-extras-development.repo freshrpms.repo livna-testing.repo fedora-extras.repo freshrpms.repo.1 fedora-legacy.repo livna-devel.repo

I have an i386 box not a 64 bit box, anyway I d-l'ed faad2-2.0-8.fc5.i386.rpm from freshrpms and installed it.

I still get:

ivtv-kmdl-2.6.17-1.2157F 100% ========================= 9.4 kB 00:00 ivtv-kmdl-2.6.17-1.2139FC5 erased Error: Missing Dependency: libmp4ff.so.0 is needed by package mythmusic

Listing the rpm gives: rpm -q --list -p faad2-2.0-8.fc5.i386.rpm

usr-bin-faadusr-lib-libfaad.so.0usr-lib-libfaad.so.0.0.0usr-lib-libmp4ff.so.0usr-lib-libmp4ff.so.0.0.0usr-lib-libmp4v2.so.0usr-lib-libmp4v2.so.0.0.0usr-share-doc-faad2-2.0usr-share-doc-faad2-2.0-AUTHORSusr-share-doc-faad2-2.0-COPYINGusr-share-doc-faad2-2.0-ChangeLogusr-share-doc-faad2-2.0-NEWSusr-share-doc-faad2-2.0-READMEusr-share-doc-faad2-2.0-TODO

So it appears that the dependency has been met.
