alsa sound problem in fedora core 3 fc3Hi, i am using fc3 with kernel 2.6.11-1.14FC3 I use gnome, but I wanted the kde's clipboard manager so I typed kclipper then because I wanted it to load automatically each time i start up, i types "gnome-session-save" suddenly i got problems with debug message stating some issue abount inability to connect to the alsa sound device. So i tried various things including removing alsa alsa-lib and reinstalling it. and also trying "system-config-soundcard" but these things did not work either. can someone please help me get back the sound; its driving me crazy!! Below i mention few things that I have tried Minicom and serial communications The mode line "online-offline" on minicom has some information overload built in that is confusing, but when you know...
