burn multi cd from read only files server and limited HD spaceHere is the tree on a read only files server: root- Movie Music Pics misc - film1 - band1 - album1 ... - film2 - band2 - ... ... - film3 - ... -... ... Why is the serial port sooo slow in Linux This is meant to be a more general question rather than a code-specific question, although I have attached some of my code at the end. I have a device that I made... I'm using mkisofs and cdrecord I would like to add the band2dir to my multi session cd the desired tree on my cd is as follows cd -----session1 -----band2 the cdrecord -msinfo gives me the following info: 0,51887 I'm now going to make the image session2.raw for the second session buttumingdev-hda is my cd-r(w) drive and newdir is the directory where band2should be located, the following should be called mkisofs -o session2.raw -lR -C 0,51887 -Mdev-hda newdir the problem is that since I have no write access to the server to mv band2into newdirSo I have to copy band2in a directory newdirof my hard drive but I have space enough on it only to create the image so I can't copy band2 the other option seems to be: mkisofs -o session2.raw -lR -C 0,51887 -Mdev-hda -graft-points newdir-band2-=-Music-band2 but the created image is corrupted and i can't mount it to a loop device. the returned error is: "mount : Not a directory" someone has a solution?
