Hello there

I've got a problem using cups from the command line. I want to print all jpg's in a directory, using lp. An example of a directory containing files would be:

-rw-rw-r-- 1 love users 379628 2006-01-10 13:05 DNI.jpg -rw-rw-r-- 1 love users 755201 2006-01-03 14:06 fn3ba76a0S0-913805005.01.jpg -rw-rw-r-- 1 love users 779928 2006-01-03 14:06 fn3ba76a0S0-913805005.02.jpg -rw-rw-r-- 1 love users 376150 2006-01-11 16:45 Scan003260.jpg -rw-rw-r-- 1 love users 386574 2006-01-11 16:45 Scan003261.jpg -rw-rw-r-- 1 love users 473398 2006-07-11 11:00 Scan005295.jpg -rw-rw-r-- 1 love users 500066 2006-07-11 11:00 Scan005296.jpg -rw-rw-r-- 1 love users 424431 2006-07-11 11:01 Scan005297.jpg

Nope that's not it... some directories contain over 100+ images that print without any problems. As you've correctly observed...

The command that I run is:

# lp -o media=A4 -o scaling=100 *.jpg which returns: # request id is hplaserjet2300-2516 (8 file(s))

For some misterious reason only the first 5 files are actually printed out, up to and including Scan 003261.jpg. The files that start with "Scanlove" were all scanned with the same scanner and using the same options, so the file format is the same. This result repeats in other, similar examples of files were scanned images are not consecutive.

Does anyone know what's happening???
