Go to the Macromedia site and download the plugin (or there may be one at your distro's archives.) Once that is installed, the movie should play as soon as Firefox loads it. A Flash player is part of Windows, but it isn't GPL, so it won't be part of a download distro. Even then, it doesn't work for me. I think that it has to be embedded in a Web page. (I am testing this as I go along.) directory along with the others. Still no joy. Something I downloaded from the Web says that this should work: height="45" Using Libsx to rotate text I am trying to use the simple X library to draw some simulated graphical displays, and i think i've run... That at least gave me a temporary gray patch in the corner of my browser. It probably needs a reference to the .xml file. And so on and on...
