Not going to do you much good if you are running ash. Ash is sh, not bash, and is a much simpler shell. "Remember"? Someone stole your computer and now you are waiting for the police to recover it and then plan to run a script on it? What's a "non file"? 1. Get the ash-sh manpage and study it. 2. Get the ls manpage for your OS and find out whether it supports the -R option or not. (Mulinux is one of the 'tiny linux' distros and may not use the large GNU utilities, just like it doesn't use the large GNU shell, bash.) 3. Quit using ridiculous trendy terms from some windoze-weenie chat room and learn the right ones for the Linux-Unix world (by reading a lot of posts on a group like this, for example).
