glslideshow sequence possibleHi folks, I'm trying to get xscreensaver to show a sequence of all slides in a directory but NOT randomly. If I set "chooseRandomImages: False" in ~-.xscreensaver, it then ignores my images directory. OK so why not random: The screensaver shows a series of special offers in a shop waiting area. The boss points out that random images mean that not all slides will be shown in a given time. OK so why not KDE screensaver: The desktop is on a slow machine and is locked down mbuttively so that all a customer can do is put in a camera card and view their images. Fluxbox was easier to lock down. OK so why xscreensaver: I use the "xscreensaver-command -watch" option to switch off scanning for floppy-CD-pendrive-camcard whenever the screensaver is running. knoppix captiventfs I know nothing in particular, but considering this from the project page: This compatibility was achieved in the Wine way by using the original Microsoft Windows ntfs.sys driver. It emulates the... I am no programmer, but it looks as though the getimage scripts only load one image at a time and are stateless so have no recollection of previous slides. I am tempted to try replacing this with a bash script which uses touch or access time to achieve some notion of state, but I would much prefer it if somebody has some easier ideas.
