Opening Kuickshow in a given directory

1. transmitting on an FM broadcast frequency (88-108MHz) is illegal, at any range, without proper permits available from your local government radiotelephony department. 2. because of this one restriction, wifi cards are specifically designed not to be able to transmit in these frequency ranges. In fact, they are specifically designed to operate in the 2.4GHz range, and only the 2.4GHz range - which is well outside civilian broadcast frequencies. 3. wifi cards are incapable, by virtue of their design and function, to broadcast on AM frequencies.

To allow yourself wireless access to your jukebox, I would advise a secure tunnel via non-broadcasting wifi to your fileserver, the client equipment being wifi-enabled desktop, laptop or PDA with embedded media player capability. To broadcast a stream over 2.4GHz wireless, particularly an open channel such as you are suggesting, would be tantamount to running a pirate radio station. Whatever you're planning, just bear in mind that if you're caught running such equipment or someone shops you for broadcasting stream over wireless, your local government communications department will have your head on a plate.

Not to mention the RIAA-BPI-whatever the analogue is in your locality.

Just some advice, you can take it with as big a pinch of salt as you like.
