lost the grub bootloader to Fedora 5 because windows formatting..how can I get it

danish Yes, I was able to boot into rescue more and then did it the way it was written by post

I was not doing #chrootmnt-sysimage That was the mistake... after which I did #grub-installdev-hda

But now thr seems to be a new problem. Im not able to boot into the desktop as a normal user..I get the login screen but as i enter username and pbuttword of the normal user the machine gets restarted after 5 sec...It is only as root that I got the desktop...
