missing gtkdevel in FC5

So I'm trying to install eboard from source on Fedora Core 5. And in this case, as is the case every now and then when I try to install something from source, I get a message during the configure that goes something like this:

configuring eboard 0.9.5... checking sanity of install... ok testing C++ compiler... g++ works header verification: all headers found. looking for gtk-config... NOT FOUND ** You need GTK+ 1.2.x to compile eboard. If you're on a ** RPM-based Linux system (Red Hat, SuSE, Conectiva, Mandrake) ** you may need to install the -devel package of glib and gtk.

so I take a look-see at what I have:

No gtk-devel indeed. So I give a search a try: yum search gtk-devel* No results.

So the next thing I was thinking of doing was go to feeling that might not be such a hot idea.

I was hoping I could get some advice if that would be a stupid or smart direction to go. Please let me know if there's more information I need to provide that I don't know enough to have provided. Thanks in advace! Liam
