missing library o3I was trying to compile gtk+ and friends the othe night (never finished -- too many dependencies), and now a few things won't run. They all give errors similar to this: MAKE MONEY FAST AND EASY HURRY MAKE MONEY FAST AND EASY HURRY!!!! Make Money Fast A little while back, I was browsing these newsgroups, just... ** ERROR **: Gdkxft requires gtk+ version 1.2 - this appears to be 2.0 aborting... Aborted The things I've found so far that don't work are Gaim, gkrellm (I riggedusr-X11R6-lib-libgdk-1.2.so.0), and Realplayer. This is an old (in terms of software; hardware's not that old) Redhat 8.5 machine. I plan on upgrading as soon as I can get my hands on a couple GB of USB drive to use as a staging area, but being forced into it would really suck. What would I look for -- a library in a non-standard directory, or one that got overwritten? rpm says .M...... usr-lib-libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.0.6 .......T usr-lib-codecs-jp2avi.dll .......T usr-lib-codecs-m3jp2k32.dll rpm(8) says: No such file or directory" in Batch mode 7353 BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Have you tried the same under sh-bash or...
