How to uninstall Linux from my computer

Help!sbininit: 432: cannot open devconsole: No such file
Hello all, I'm in a deep fix. I'm close to finishing my dissertation and suddenly this...

hmmm, I'm running Slackware, I have a pdf called "Slack-book", but is quite very incomplete, everything is half done, and the only thing they say about boot disk is: to copy one of the images they give on the CD, but none of them is good for me. What I want is to boot from a floppy or usb key on my own kernel image because i tuned it for my machine. the matter is not to fix anything softly, my pc has an occasionnal hardware hard-drive desease; sometimes when I turn on the box the system crashes at boot time and the screen displays 'LIL' so to avoid it I would like to setup a boot device which will save the hard drive from booting. I know when it happens since the pc hangs for 2 to 3 minutes on system boot screen just before booting; and during this while I can choose whether I want to setup the bios or choose the bios multiboot mode.

WinXP (when it was the only OS on the pc) doesn't crash when the system hangs on boot screen. I posted many threads about that but uselessly ;)

you know about diagnostic floppies?
