Depends on stuff. "man sulogin" should give the full scoop; you can feed additional options to init to get the shell you desire. The man page strongly implies that if SUSHELL isn't set and sulogin can't find root's shell,bin-sh will be used instead. I don't know if that's really the case though. HTH,
