The same way you make any window full size. I don't know what your window manager is, so I can't tell you (and wouldn't anyway, since it' your business what key bindings you want to make). In my window manager I left click on the middle icon in the window top panel. Or right click on the "maximise" entry in the window menu (which I have bound to right click on the window top panel).

I don't understand why you think double-clicking should do such a thing. It's not a common binding for "maximise"!

Hey there, I am new to Linux, tried a few, even bought two Suse Distributions, never satisfied with the result... Now I...

Then make it happen, if that is what you want. Bind "maximise" to "double click in window".

I don't understand you - it is already in a window. Why would you want it in a new one? Make the one it is in full size. This is a very strange idea - it seems to me that you want to make a mail appear in a new full-size window every time you double-click on some link to it, but refuse to express that wish! Well, that kind of behaviour is dependent on the viewer, and is very far from your expressed wish to view mail in a full-size window, which is simply satisfied by making the window you ARE viewing it in full-size.
