Hello,

a few weeks ago I've configured my soundcard (Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233-A-8235-8237 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 60)).

Playback works fine but today I've tried to record. arecord seems to get no audio-stream.

Over which device runs recording? (likedev-dsp): I'm searching on the also homepage for help but have nothing found yet.

In `alsamixer` over 'mic' there is a red 'CAPTUR', but as I said `arecord` gets nothing.
