slow kernel when memory = 8G 7445I am the original poster. Thanks for everybody for trying to help. Some of you rightfully complained that I didn't provide enough info. Here are the relevant infos: The kernel config file was grabbed fromboot(2.6.8) which came from Debian. My co-worker (who compiled the kernel) just changed the memory 4GB to 64GB. That's all.
