That is correct. I have an onboard intel, a pci sound blaster, a bttv card for watching tv and a stupid usb logitech webcam, which I've always had problems with.

Binary file bin-flitetime matches Binary file bin-t2p matches Binary file bin-flite matches src-audio-auoss.c:static const char * const ossaudiodevice = "-dev-dsp"; testsuite-recordwavemain.c:static const char * const vwaudiodevice = "-dev-dsp"; testsuite-recordinnoisemain.c:static const char * const vwaudiodevice = "-dev-dsp";

Should be a piece of cake. In fact I'll try to make it an option so I can specify it at run time.

flash drive mount and write permission
When I want to mount the floppy drivedev-fd0 on my ancient (RH 7.1) system, I just execute mountmnt-floppy and it does it, even if I do so...

crw------- 1 amadeus root 14, 3 Sep 23 13:21dev-dsp crw------- 1 amadeus root 14, 19 Sep 23 13:21dev-dsp1 crw------- 1 amadeus root 14, 35 Sep 23 13:21dev-dsp2 crw------- 1 amadeus root 14, 51 Sep 23 13:21dev-dsp3

I just tried wavplay file.wav and again it can't opendev-dsp. I had that working too. If I play the wav file with esdplay all is well. But I can't figure out what device esdplay is using:

esdplay 5744 amadeus 0u CHR 136,2 4dev-pts-2 esdplay 5744 amadeus 1u CHR 136,2 4dev-pts-2 esdplay 5744 amadeus 2u CHR 136,2 4dev-pts-2
