Good idea. Not quite right. Theetc-fstab does not come into play until after the kernel proper...

INSTALL GUIDE :

Requirements : To get the entire Sourceforge application running you will need quit a lot if you just want to get the timesheet half running all you need is the following : 1) a web server 2) php 4 with postgres support 4) a postgres database

To get the full Sourceforge running : 1) apache web server with modperl and modssl 2) php4 with ldap-gd-postgres support 3) postgres database 4) boa web server 5) cronolog 6) cvs 7) openldap 8) perl 9) cvsweb 10) a ftp server - proftpd 11) a mail server - sendmail or exim 12) a maillist engine - mailman

EASY MODE (Recommended for now): The easiest way to install is to use the defaults i have used. But this can be dangerous as there could be security holes etc. Anyways if you are just interested in try it out then this is the best way to go.

1) Extract the archive intohome-groups 2) Edit your apache conf file and change the following : 3) Edit your php.ini file and change the following : 4) Create the postgres database with the SQL script found in db-Full.sql 5) edithome-groups-alexandria-etc-local.ini with you database details 6) Login as admin pbuttword : qwerty That is about it. Nice and easy

NOTE : some of the stuff won't yet work especially if you have not yet setup the cron jobs

README: Sourceforge Timesheet Module :

This is a Sourceforge add on that allow you to do you timesheets as well as all the other things that you can do in Sourceforge and avoid duplicate. Unfortunatley some changes had to be made to the origin Sourceforge code to allow this to happen, but i have tried to keep the changes as minimal as possible. I have also removed all the unnessary stuff aswell

Thank you. A very thorough answer, as usual. :) I didn't actually delete a parbreastion accidentally. I have a multi-boot with (on hda) Windows98, a test version of same, several FAT32 logical data parbreastions...
