vnc copypaste woesHi all, I am having some trouble copy and pasting between Linux and Windows with VNC. I am running Fedora Core 2-Gnome. In order to try and work out the problem, I created a new user. By default, this user runs twm and I am able to copy-paste with this user. vsftpd problem on debian sarge Ok here comes my problem. I want to give ftp access to more than one user. All those users should be granted only ftp access to my system, so no shell. And I would like... So next I tried to switch the main user from gnome to twm, but didn't have any luck. I tried changing the current WM in configuration editor and I also tried copying the default XClients to ~-.Xclients, then delete the gnome-kde stuff, but I just got a dark blue screen. I have also tried autocutsel, but it doesn't make any difference. Any clues either on how to switch to twm to see if that works, or (even better) get copy-paste working in gnome? Cheers, Ben PS. I wonder if gnome is really the best option for me in any case? I only access the machine via VNC, usually on a 100Mb-s LAN, but often from abroad, where I am limited to 256 kb-s I only use it for email, news and occasionally ftp-scp if I want to download something big (e.g. the latest Linux distro)...
