If you mean who has larger scale enterprise clbutt support, these are the ones I am aware of:

RedHat Novell Suse Ubuntu (if not now, soon will)

IBM typically offers support and services around RedHat (primary) and Novell SuSE (secondary) as well.

RedHat and SuSE tend to be support by many vendors as well as companies like Oracle.

SuSE (with KDE) have the better desktop (IMO).

As a consultant, I have found that the desktop is not the obstacle to Linux adoption. Rather, it is who to hold accountable in the event of a failure of "x" sort. In most cases, once I convince a client that you can have a contract of support with RedHat (,etc) they are more inclined to run a Linux based distribution. But again, it evolves around business objectives.

When people say that Linux has plenty of support through the community -- I immediately discount that statement. I do recognize the importance of the scale of community support, but it's poor turn around as it relates to business objectives.

The community spends more time arguing the fine points of something and individuals wishing to "be right" rather than quick solution to get the business resume immediately.

I hope that insight helps you as you move forward with Linux adoption in the business.

Most of my success with Linux adoption with *large companies* has *always* revolved around *contractually based* support mechanisms.
